Jacob Avignone  is a Los Angeles-based  A Camera/ Steadicam Operator with 32 years of experience in the entertainment business.  Jacob grew up in Milan, Italy and is fluent in both Italian and English. 

By age 16, Jacob tried on his first Steadicam at an Camera Expo in Milan Italy and knew he wanted to pursue Steadicam.  He began working as a Video Camera Operator for TBN Italy and worked on live concerts  with The Miles Davis Orchestra , Shaquille O'Neal, and many various Italian musicians. He also worked on many fashion shows for Armani in Milan.

By age 18, he relocated to the US and began working as a Camera Assistant alongside some very talented Cinematographers on 2nd Unit  Austin Powers 3 and Clockstoppers with Dp, Paul Hughen A.S.C. A Man Apart with Dir F Gary Gray Dp, Jack Green A.S.C., Elizibeth Town With Camron Crow DP John Toll A.S.C. Bad Santa DP Jamie Anderson TV shows: CSI Vegas with Dp Frank Byers A.S.C, and  West Wing with Tom Del Ruth A.S.C & Michael Mayers just to name a few .  He also worked on the cult classic, The Room. 

In 2006, after working on the pilot for Sons of Anarchy with Paul Niebaum A.S.C and Race To Witch Mountain with Camera Operator Greg Smith, Jacob decided to pursue his dream.  Jacob worked on many commercials, music videos, documentaries, and low budget movies in order to earn his credits to become a Camera Operator. Since then, Jacob has been able to operate on movies such as End Of Watch with Director David Ayer and DP Roman Vayanov. All-Star Weekend with Director Jamie Foxx, and DP John T Conner. Community With Director  Anthony Russo DP Grary Hatfeid. Teen Wolf The Movie and Television show with Director Russell Mulcahy and DP Dave Daniels , the Tv Show Shooter & Atypical  and documentaries  for National Geographic . Jacobs most recent work as A Camera / Steadicam is on  the Emmy nominated  show A Black Lady Sketch Comedy and the must see horror throwback of the year   " A Blind Bargain"  shot on 16mm coming soon.
